Jaki’s Wacky Adventure participated in Steam Next Fest in June 2022. Our free demo was played by 1000’s of gamers and many of them offered feedback. Some of the feedback regarded a mixed art style.

The paths, water, walls, and some of the buildings were taken from purchased art assets which were pixel style art. The art assets which I created and other purchased art assets were high resolution. This mixture of art styles was inconsistent and concerning to some of the players.

So, we have been busy the last few months creating new art assets and rebuilding the world.
